Upside Avenue added a new apartment community its multifamily income REIT. The investment property is located in Houston, a booming market that provides opportunities for some of the nation’s best real estate investments. Texas, and the Sunbelt region of the United States, remains a strong market for multifamily real estate investing because of the warm climate and strong local economies.

Highland Cross

The new equity investment we are making is into Highland Cross Apartments. It is a 236 unit apartment complex in Houston, Texas. It is located off of I-45 and Highland Crossing which allows ample access to business centers around Houston. It is projected to produce a cash dividend of 7.0% with a projected total return of 14.0%.

This community presents an exciting opportunity for income as well as appreciation, which is exactly what Upside Avenue REIT strives to find in its properties.
